In accordance with the Michigan Mental Health Code, the Community Mental Health Services Board is appointed by the Lapeer County Board of Commissioners. Board members serve three-year terms beginning on April 1; the terms expiration dates are staggered with four persons' terms expiring each year. Currently the following persons serve on the Lapeer County Community Mental Health Services Board: Left to right: Ms. Jean Bonior, Ms. Marlene Brezee, Ms. Cheryl Clark, Ms. Lori Curtiss- Chairperson, Ms. Mary Linn Voss-Treasurer, Mr. John Jill, Mr. Tim Brown-Vice Chair, Mr. Laird Kellie, Ms. Carol Winn, Mr. David Taylor, Ms. Kay Morris, secretary, and Dr. Russell Bush.
Our Board of Directors meet, and public is invited, on the last Thursday of every month unless otherwise posted at Lapeer CMH or the county complex.
